EYEWEAR CARE

Keep your favourite frames looking their best

A gentle cleaning routine protects the details you chose them for.

Remove dust before wiping

Rinse away loose dust with lukewarm water where appropriate, then use a lens-safe cleaner and a clean microfibre cloth. Follow the lens and frame manufacturer’s care instructions. Avoid wiping gritty lenses with clothing, paper towels or a dirty cloth.

Be careful with heat and chemicals

Do not leave glasses on a hot car dashboard. Heat can affect frames and lens coatings. Household cleaning sprays and strong solvents may damage finishes or coatings; use products specifically suitable for your eyewear.

Store them with care

Use a protective case when you are not wearing them. Avoid resting lenses face-down, and remove glasses with both hands to reduce twisting. Wash your microfibre cloth regularly according to its instructions, without fabric softener residue.

Let the practice handle adjustments

A loose screw, tilted frame or slipping bridge may need an adjustment. Avoid bending premium frames yourself: different materials and hinges require different handling. Bring your glasses in and ask about appropriate care for that model. Scratch-resistant coatings improve resistance but do not make lenses scratch-proof.
